LANARK PARK POOL GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY

After 5 summers without water, the long awaited day came July 11, 2006 with the ground breaking ceremony at Lanark Park. A new pool will be built at an estimated cost of $4.4 million. Completion is scheduled for July of 2007.

Camp Lanark children were present along with Councilman Dennis Zine and senior executives from CRA/LA,  Department of Recreation and Parks, Bureau of Engineering, Department of Public Works, and the Canoga Park Neighborhood Council.


GUADALUPE COMMUNITY CENTER

After major renovations and new construction funded by CRA/LA West Valley Region, a Boeing, UPS, Weingart Fdn., CA State Senate, Targeted Neighborhood Initiative, Prop K, this is another community sensitive project that will continue to serve the community of Canoga Park.
