The Canoga Park Neighborhood Council is pleased to announce a Community Beautification Project scheduled for April 22, 2017 fro 8:00 a.m.with lunch provided at 11:30 a.m. Members of the community are invited to participate in a joint effort with LAPD Cadets, LAFD Cadets, local Churches of all faiths, and area high school students.  The main purpose of the project will be to paint fire hydrants in the throughout  the community of Canoga Park.

Participants should plan to come dressed in work clothes and gloves and be ready to prep the fire hydrants and paint them.   Start and finish point will be the Canoga Park Community Center-the old fire station 72, at 7248 Owensmouth Avenue, Canoga Park.

Sponsors of this event are the Canoga Park Neighborhood Council, Department of Water & Power, LAPD, LAFD,and Home Depot.  It will be a major effort to beautify our community. Numerous sponsors will be contributing supplies, paint and food.
